So there we have it! Chapter Two is finally out!



Lemme tell ya how painstakingly difficult it is to not only animate and write the entire 12 minutes of it, but to keep the drive going as well. I won't lie, there were times where I was ready to give up, that I thought "hey maybe this soundtrack isn't so good anymore" or "ehhh that joke isn't as funny as I thought it'd be". But I went ahead and revised a couple parts, and others, I just had to let it marinate on my brain for a bit before I liked them again.

It has been a blast working on this episode, I had so much fun. Many friends have told me that they cried watching the ending and I had TOTALLY forgotten that I originally wrote the script to be a tear jerker rather than a comedy. I've been working on this thing for so long that I've became numb to it's sad parts. I also enjoyed going back through my fla's and seeing the little details I forgot I put in the backgrounds. Made me laugh thinking that I thought "dab sandwich" and "nae nae fries" was a good little detail to put on the cafeteria's lunch menu. It was like going through a time capsule because my humor and art style has progressively evolved since.

Anyway, that's really all the notes I wanted to add about the latest release. I've got a commission to work on beforehand, but hopefully chapter three will be here sooner than later!

I'm still kicking. Just wrapped up another scene and going straight to the next one! It's looking pretty fine so far, defintiely gonna be more lengthy than the first one. Didn't expect so much material to come out off this one!

Also, I got commisioned for a 6 minute pilot with a gentleman who you guys probably don't know. So I've got that cooking as well, once it's out, I'll let you guys know where you can view it.

L8r losers

So after about three full days of animation, I've wrapped up the first scene.

The first scene itself runs for about 2 and half minutes long, making me realize this second chapter is gonna be bulkier and beefier than the previous one so buckle up fellas.

I'm pretty proud of how fast it took, the first scene is probably the bulkiest part to animate cause it has a really cool fight sequence in it.

Just wrapped up with my voice actors today for Chapter Two.. The script is bulkier than the previous one but I should be able to get this one out faster than Chapter One.

So following the small success of Chapter One, I’d like to keep you guys up to date as much as possible on the progress of the future chapters.

So far, I’ve just finished the script for Chapter Two, as well as character designs. Will be getting my voice actors together later this week and right afterwards get to work on the easiest and best part about all this: the animation (woo)

Wow can't believe I'm done with chapter one.

I know nobody on here knows me, but I've been lurking around Newgrounds for a while now. Just haven't been bothered to post anything. I'm glad Fat Fuck is my opener to the community hahaha

I've been working on chapter one for roughly a year now. It was a crazy year, got in a band, got a big boy job, made some pretty good money. Throughout this year, I did think about giving up on the project and I wouldn't work on the show for months. Recently, after accumulating about 70% of the overall project, I suddenly realized how often I would give up on a project and never go through with it. So I called myself a pussy, pulled my pants up, and got to work. I spent two entire days finishing up the remaining 30%. I just wanted to see a finished project, I haven't done one in two years.

Anyway, I'm glad I finished this chapter, I'm looking forward on making more of Melvins adventures in the near future.
